2026 National Heritage Media Art at Jinjuseong Fortress inju 2026

dotmill, a content-based spatial solution company, has showcased the "2026 National Heritage Media Art Jinjuseong" at Jinjuseong Fortress. By combining media art with the fortress's history, architecture, and natural landscapes, it has created a stunning nightscape featuring media facades at the Gongbukmun and Chokseokmun gates, as well as 3D mapping on the statue of General Kim Si-min. Gongbukmun and the statue are connected through visuals and music, while the historical park features a light- and media-infused walking trail, artist installations, and various experiential contents. Visitors can become part of the artwork through interactive experiences such as "Face of Guardian," a voice-based AI interaction that responds to visitors' wishes with light and sound; an interactive content where flowers bloom upon beating a drum; and live sketching where drawings made by visitors appear on screen. Additionally, the opening ceremony and special Friday and Saturday performances—featuring the Jinju City Gugak Orchestra, Jinju Geommu (Sword Dance), and cultural arts group Onter—harmoniously blended regional arts and culture with media art.
